The Professional Diploma in Educational Leadership and Management Programme reached a memorable milestone today as the community gathered for its Closing Ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of the first cohort. A total of 21 students, together with the course instructors, attended the ceremony and shared in this joyful moment.
The ceremony began with closing remarks by Prof. Mok Ka-Ho, Provost and Vice-President (Academic & Research) and Director of the School of Transdisciplinary Studies. Prof. Mok congratulated students on their completion of the programme, as well as their perseverance and commitment throughout the journey. He encouraged them to continue pursuing lifelong learning and to apply the knowledge and skills gained in their future academic and professional pursuits in France. He also extended warm wishes to everyone for the New Year.
Following the opening, the programme continued with the Lecturers’ Message to Students session. Teachers delivered heartfelt words of encouragement and appreciation, recognising the students’ effort, resilience, and growth over the course of the programme.
Students then took the stage for the Student Sharing Session, reflecting on their learning experiences and personal development. Many students shared positive feedback about the programme and expressed gratitude for the support and guidance they received. The session was meaningful for both students and lecturers, symbolising not only the conclusion of the programme, but also the beginning of new opportunities ahead.
As the Closing Ceremony came to an end, it marked more than the completion of the programme. It marked a major milestone for the programme itself. As the first cohort, the students leave not only with certificates, but also with a strong sense of achievement, confidence, and inspiration to move forward.
The event concluded with a Farewell Party. The atmosphere was lively and cheerful as students and lecturers enjoyed refreshments, took group photos, and exchanged warm wishes. It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to celebrate together and reflect on the journey they had shared.
